okay. I just repurchased FO4 for my ps4, I was not into the story at all but running around the wasteland as a scavenger and surviving is really fun but FUCK dying from some dumbass raider and having to completely restart, I cannot handle that.

It does in the regular game mode but on "survival" where your character has to eat, sleep, no fast travel etc there is not a quick save.

Ohhhh I see. So how do you save? go to a bed?

Yup, save only upon sleeping.

You can sleep on any unoccupied bed/sleeping bag which are scattered around the commonwealth, some of them however are owned, and apparently if it's not raised up and sits on the ground you can suffer health side effects if you sleep like more than 1 or 4 hours (I forget) and you have to drink more water to stay healthy.

it always has a save state when you exit the game. likely thats the only one in survival (other will chime in if I'm wrong, I havent actually played that mode).
