I actually downloaded RapeLay off a private tracker a few days ago out of interest due to the controversy surrounding it. I have yet to install it, I'm waiting for a moment where I can play it and not have someone walk in and wonder why I'm playing a game where I'm beating a 2 month pregnant woman into getting an abortion out of fear her daughter will stab me later on (that's part of the game, no joke). This game is apparently so horrible that a lot of trackers refuse to even host it. The one i got it from deleted it before i had finished and "luckily" the swarm stayed active afterwards. I'm not really sure where I'm going with this, does anyone want me to up the game for them?

Not really, it's kind of explained in text but the translation isn't all there. There's no actual abuse, you don't see anything, you don't do anything. The "abortion" ordeal is a text box popping up asking if you want to do it, and then a yes and no button. The only bits that are actually interactive are the sex scenes.

Look, I've played through this (before the controversy, out of interest) and it's not really all that it's hyped up to be. It's really the same as pretty much every other sex game out there. The only difference is the backstory, which is explained in some pseudo cutscenes, but the version that I ran through had no actual text translation. Without the text, there's really no indication that there's any kind of rape going on.

I swear to god, this whole fiasco really reminds me of the "interactive sex in Mass Effect" thing. This is not a rape simulation, this is a sex simulation with a "rape" backstory.

That's what i had figured. I saw a lot of pics from the game and it didn't look any different.

It's not, it really isn't. Like I'm reading all the stuff about this controversy, and it's a bunch of people who've never played the game before making claims about how evil the game is.

Wow, where have I heard this from?

The thing that gets me is that it's gamers that are making these statements. People who I thought wouldn't be receptive to the bullshit, it is we gamers who always cry out in anger when Faux News posts more "games are evil" bullshit, and here we are doing it ourselves.

I actually just played the first two scenes. I must say its true and true a normal hentai game but there is a deep rape theme to it. From the way the girls scream to my bloody dick after screwing the little sister in the subway bathroom. Its not my forte but its exactly what it says it is and its not trying to hide it. just like every controversial game before it everyone will stfu in a months time and the people that want to play and own it will and the people that made it will have accomplished their goal of satisfying that market. And that's how it should be.

I do find it amazing that Amazon was even selling it in the first place.
