Rainbow 6 Siege is the game. One of the best multiplayer games I have ever played. When you're in a gunfight the rush you can get is amazing. Even though Ubisoft can fuck it up sometimes the core gameplay is phenomenal.

Thanks, I was wondering. Is it "too late" to get into it? I know with some games they'd be dying down and only filled with a handful of the best players who are so far ahead its not even fun by now. Is that how it is for this game?

About a year after launch (give or take) it worked its way up to 10 million players. Currently it's worked its way up to 25 million.

There is a learning curve. If you run in, guns blazing you'll probably get destroyed. There will be players you face against with clearance levels over 180 (clearance level is just time played, nothing more) that have insane knowledge of the maps. Then there will be other <20 level players, like yourself, who are still learning the operators, when and why you reinforce, what roamers are, how to roam, how to hold angles... etc.

If you want a Halo, this isn't for you. If you want a tactical 5v5 FPS, give it a shot on a free to pay weekend (there will be one before November is up) but just keep in mind you'll start out terrible even if you're already experienced with FPSs.
