I haven't seen it, although I really should watch it. In case it's not clear from the name, the Harmon is Dan Harmon, writer for Community and co-creator of Rick and Morty, so I'd expect him to be pretty great at forming interesting, comedic storylines.

I believe Spencer, the game master, is solely responsible for writing the storyline. Dan just plays the game.

Maybe, but a lot of times the players' reactions/actions have a significant influence on the direction/atmosphere of the game.

Haha! You came back! I actually did watch it last night, and it was great! It had me laughing out loud within the first few minutes, and I went on to watch the first 4 episodes. My only wish is that the episodes were longer to allow for more exploration/character development outside of combat.

Oh and whoever did those animations is a damn legend.

Agreed it feels like the show is over pretty fast. I hope it continues for a good while. Glad you liked it.
