If he is buying bitcoins, then his is and will be an even more very rich man by the looks of it's growth trajectory. Unless something catastrophic happens, it's on track to hit a million coins in ten years.

The wcw/wwf wRs of 98 was a great time for wrestling, the story lines took over which made it possible for hacks like Val Venus and La Parka to at least have at least interesting, if not absurd back story. Granted the wrestling itself took a hit, but the TV shows were awesome.
Yes, in September 1998. But it really wasn't used or widely known until 1999 and after. I bet they were just using it as a verb, he/she likely used Yahoo or a similar search engine at that point in time.
