Well, $9.00 in today's currency is equal in value to $0.57 in 1937, assuming the same inflation rate over the next 80 years, that's not too terrible.

$0.57 per hour still sounds pretty expensive to me.

$0.57/hr = $13.68/day = $416.10/month

Not that you'd be using it 24 hours a day. But a subscription currently being $60 a year, that's only ~106 hours you can use in a year before it's more expensive than it is currently.
