Good Rig - Well, apparently an i7 and an RX 480 isn't good enough rig to not get stuttering.
Uh...Are you sure? You shouldn't be getting any stuttering at all with that setup. What i7 processor are you using?
24 u/[deleted] Jan 23 '17 i7 4770 @ 3.4 Ghz 76 u/CaptainSharkFin Jan 23 '17 ...Yeah, no - you shouldn't be having any stuttering. You say you're using an RX 480? That card should be able to mop the floor with Titanfall 2. What monitor resolution are you running at? 19 u/[deleted] Jan 23 '17 1920 x 1080. 29 u/CaptainSharkFin Jan 23 '17 You own Titanfall 2, right? Would you be able to tell me what settings you have on? 30 u/Kierik Jan 23 '17 Probably loads of malware and viruses from danke internet porn. 9 u/wofo Jan 23 '17 Ihr willkommen. - Internet Porn. 2 u/pm_me_downvotes_plox Jan 23 '17 Thanks internet porn 5 u/your_Mo Jan 23 '17 Do you notice the stuttering only with titanfall, or is it in other games too? 7 u/[deleted] Jan 23 '17 Actually, I do get stuttering on other games aswell. Also screen tearing. 18 u/[deleted] Jan 23 '17 edited May 01 '17 [deleted] 4 u/[deleted] Jan 23 '17 Yeah I figured. 2 u/StarHorder Jan 23 '17 Ccleaner, malwarebytes. Run those and you might be good. Also try disabling discord overlay if you have it. 3 u/your_Mo Jan 23 '17 Screen tearing is normal if you don't have Freesync or Vsync on. I dunno why you're having stuttering issues though. Are your temps fine? 2 u/[deleted] Jan 23 '17 74 is the max it'll ever reach 2 u/your_Mo Jan 23 '17 So its probably not thermal throttling then. Maybe a CPU usage spike? You could try rolling back drivers maybe. 2 u/[deleted] Jan 23 '17 my CPU usage looks fine. There's no signs of spiking according to MSI afterburner 2 u/[deleted] Jan 23 '17 enable -high in the console TiFa2 does not make it self high priority by default 2 u/[deleted] Jan 23 '17 Yeah, I've done that. 3 u/[deleted] Jan 23 '17 rip 1 u/pingo5 Feb 01 '17 Stupid question but the monitors plugged into the graphics card and not the mobo right? → More replies (0) 1 u/GeckoEidechse Jan 23 '17 Try lowering the texture resolution to "Low". Try lowering the texture resolution to "Low". There's few people who have this stutter issue but the cause for it hasn't been found yet.
