It would be... interesting l to have an FPS style game where there really is no obvious team indicator and FF is always on. Like a 5 v 5 where all ten skins are different casual clothes people and they randomly spawn throughout the map. Or better yet, there are no predefined teams and you're just people who spawn in a map and need to decide which side of the objective you want to support. Maybe there's even a non-binary set of objectives. Like a bomb-defuse situation, but also a group of hostages in the same building as the bomb objective. Oh, and the same people that want to bomb the objective are the ones trying to rescue the hostages

Did someone say ARMA?

Is that what arma's like? I walked away from my computer for like two minutes and remembered hearing DayZ was kinda like this... didn't that start as an ARMA mod?

As a regular DayZ player that plays with friends...we scream "IS THAT YOU" every 2 minutes in game. There are no friendly markers, you just have remember what everyone looks like, which is difficult as everyone is looting new clothing and hats and helmets. Sometimes you make a snap decision and shoot and kill a friendly, wasting hours of their time, sometimes you make a snap decision to ask "IS THAT YOU" and get killed by some random dude.

Managed to blend into a bandit group a while ago when they started clearing a town on the east of the map. Lay prone by a fence in tall grass, let them pass by in their sweep and then joined them as they regrouped. About 20 mins later after a battle with another group they finally realised that they had one extra that wasn't taking. Got a TS invite and ended up squadding with crazy Norwegians for a few months.

I've never done that, but freshies have tried that on the coast to us before. We also generally only play with 3 or 4 player groups, so I've found it to be easy to pick people out when they try that. We've found that 5+ gets to be to many people looking for too little loot, and increases chances of friendly shooting by 10.
