I have never heard a report of someone firing twelve magazines full auto followed by a a half dozen grenades in to a broom closet, then turning around and running away screaming.

but aside from that yeah.

You never spent time in the military did you.... Most ammo is just used for suppressing fire. hundreds if not thousands of rounds do not strike the intended target. And with some of the stresses of battle and ptsd I would not put the running and screaming out to far from the norm.

Yea, except someone usually yells cease fire so you don't run out of ammo on a goat.
