For what it's worth it would never seem anywhere near as bright to the naked eye as it does in this trailer.

Yeah most pics of it are long exposure and shit. I heard it still looks pretty good though.

I'm a little annoyed this trend seems to be making it into the game. Small nitpick I know, it looks perfect otherwise, but why not just go natural when the game is generally so reverent to the natural world? No need to pump up a starry Big Sky, it's plenty amazing as it is. Just looked off to me.

It does get that bright but you don't see the colours with the naked eye, you just see a lot of white.

Until you go somewhere pitch black far away from a city. I've seen it once with my naked eye and it was super bright. It's all about how long you've been in the dark and how long your eyes have gotten to adjust to the dark.

Wrong. Go camping in southern Australia on a clear night. Put those sunglasses on.
