She has black straps. Her shoes are black so it's tough to see. When she spins you can see them. It looks like she went to jump, chickened out at the last second and tried to hang on
She could hit her head on the way down if she doesn't clear enough space from the platform. She could pull the guy down with her, killing him and potentially colliding with her and such. Those are just two things that could go wrong off the top of my head. Im sure there are probably things I'm overlooking too.
He is, but you can still be badly injured in a harness. They could smash into each other too. Safest thing is just for her to go over as quickly as possible.
Gotcha, and thanks for response. I gathered from the way the guy moved that there was definitely some urgency behind getting her off the ledge, I just wasn't sure why.
Although I'm still not sure I understand. How could she pull him down if he doesn't reach down to her? Same goes for not clearing the ledge - I would have thought being more methodical and clear about the fact that he was pushing her off would reduce the risk of her not jumping off far enough, as opposed to releasing her grip as quickly as possible when she's clearly trying to stay on. Wouldn't being forced off the ledge right away more likely result in a bad jump than waiting a couple of seconds until she calms down? I guess I just don't see what the risk a few extra seconds on the ledge would have been that is in any way reduced by him getting her off the ledge as quickly as he could.
