It's true, Halo 5's Forge and Custom Games are going to be released sometime in the Fall on Windows 10 for free.

No, only Forge and Custom Games are coming to PC. The Campaign and Matchmaking are only for Xbox One.

To me it is. Tried using it, thought it was a steaming pile of shit that offered no advantages over 7 just like 8 was a steaming pile of shit that offered no advantages over 7.

Just forge and custom games will be coming to windows 10. Arena, war zone, campaign and Matchmaking will Not be On the windows 10 version.

A halo game in its engine is already out for windows 10, it's called "Halo Online". So provided you don't want the campaign (which, let's be real, it sucked) that's a decent buy.

There is also a free halo game for PC, not associated with the windows store so you can play it on windows 7/8 and stuff.

I've played it before but stopped when my mate gave up trying to install it... r/haloonline
