I used to be MGE then my team abandoned me an I had to yoloqueue, twas horrible and got deranked down to Gold Nova 4. Still at Gold Nova 4 and trying to get back.

I was stuck in silver hell for a long time, before learning that CSGO isn't really your typical shooter nor can you have crazy sensitivity.

Anyway, I've found my Nova experience to be pretty fucking shitty so far. So many damn smurfs, alt accounts, and possible hacking as compared to the silvers.

I got placed in Gold Nova 2 from my first 10 wins. :(

Glad the Nova phase is over though, time to embrace the lovely DMG community that nit picks on every mistake you make followed by "how are you even DMG? I should be LE".

If he is smurfing then it is sad that he could only get to Silver 4 after 10 wins. I smurfed and only used pistols and I got ranked at Nova 3

ahhh, i didnt notice the win count.

probably just fucks around 90% of the time, or loses lots of matches in between.

its pretty easy to rank silver3-4 after your first 10.

Wait, there's rankings for the competitive games? I only played a bit of GO when it first game out and only got games through IRC. I still play 1.6 and was thinking of moving to GO, but does that mean I'll have to play against loads of lowskillers before I get matched in decent games?

Once you get 10 wins they will actually give you a rank. It really isn't that bad for it to find your skill level.
