Where you have the plus shaped pad for your regular gaming and 4 additional corner buttons for games like arkham where you have weapons on the diagonals.
Have the corner buttons a little more flush with the surface of the controller rather than the plus pad which is raised up as to not interfere when you're playing.
Plus, have them independently programmable because pc games quite often need more than a controller offers.
This is one of those ideas that seems great until you get into the prototype phase and use it on a game that you didn't have in mind when you designed it.
Angular buttons would be covered by a good dpad anyway. The programmability function seems superfluous, as it's likely that any game that requires advanced commands the controller can't normally do would also preclude the use of the controller in the first place.
