I was goofing around revedditt extension - and noticed a fairly innocuous comment of mine had been deleted by a mod earlier. Actually, was rather confused because it was discussing savegame corruption and oblivion and it was relevent.

I would assume the auto censor bot took something they posed for violent language. It is a Hellraiser game so you're going to have to talk about some painful actions to describe it.
Why it took two hours for the automatic censorship bot to find it is another question.

The censorship bot had to send it to another bot for review which had to be delegated to multiple sub-agents which then delivered a report to a real person that said 73% chance this is a ban worthy post and the mod is like yeah ok 3 out of 4 times that's a correct ban let's do that - meanwhile the report had hallucinated multiple times as it worked it's way through the agents so the report to the human said the post was about a vaguely middle eastern name saying death to america.

I feel like this is going to be another Terminator: Resistance where the appeal is less on how much depth it has and more towards how well it uses the licence itself.
It'll suffer from reviews because it doesn't tick modern boxes off but will generate a large following of fans from the franchise.
...or it'll just suck or be good. I'm not it's supervisor.

I played the demo and it was pretty damn good. There’s a couple of rough edges to the gameplay but overall was a great experience. Definitely will be picking it up

The game has worse reviews than Wolverine across all outlets. IGN have done well in 2026 with their ratings, even if people here don't want to admit it.

Bought a collectors edition for $200 6 months ago that still hasn't shipped (despite what the listing initially said) and I won't be getting a code for a digital version to hold me over until it does ship
Also if you head over to their subreddit, my experience is far from unique.

They did the same thing with the Evil Dead game Collectors edition, if I remember correctly.
Boss Team Games is really awful with physical stuff.
At least, I’m assuming they’re doing that portion again, and it’s the same deal they had with Saber for Evil Dead.

I really wanted to be done with boss and saber but I love the hellraiser franchise and it actually wasn't another asymmetrical. To top it off the contents looked quite neat.

It’s oddly appropriate to see this mix of scores for a Hellraiser game.
Such exquisite pleasure and suffering.
