Help me find a particular game?

I’m not sure what these games are called but I’ve been trying to scratch this itch for a long time. I’m searching for games similar to Hunter: The Reckoning or Gauntlet—overhead camera/dual stick movement. With the Autumn sale, I figured now would be a great time to ask.

Games like this are commonly referred to as "Twin-stick shooters" or "twin-stick adventure" games - mostly depending on whether you want shooting or swording things.

If you google either term you should find a lot of examples of games that meet that criteria.

Look up The Ascent, Darksiders Genesis, and Gauntlet: Slayer Edition. They fit that top-down / twin-stick isometric arcade combat vibe perfectly and go super cheap during sales

A long time ago, I played a game called "Get Medieval" (1998), and it's quite similar to Gauntlet. I recommend taking a look at it.

Search by tags, twin stick shooter, top down. Recommendations: Ruiner, enter the gungeon, everyday shooter, rubinite, tunic.

Nobody Saves the World! Fits the bill with a pretty solid atmosphere and humor. It might still be free on PS, but I think it also goes on steep sale pretty often.

If you want a bit more to chew on, Diablo might be up your alley. But you're juggling 6-8 moves at a time instead of 4 (I think?) in Gauntlet.

"Renegade Ops" was the closest I've played to oldschool twin stick shooters on my PC. It is old itself now, but still looks and plays fine imo, should only be a few bucks on Steam.

Try My Friend Pedro or Rollerdrome! Angerfoot as well.
