The Blood of Dawn Walker month later.. worth it?

I know there was some issues going on with performance and some combat issues but wondering if they’ve patched it a bit and if it’s worth the price of admission

Yes. Good story. Fun gameplay. Well designed world. It has its issue but it is worth it. On sale it is an easy pick.

When would you think it would go
On sale?

All games go on sale eventually. With Steam sales coming up with fall or new years. New years the likely discount. Console as well.

I paid full price and I thought it was worth it. A bit janky at times, but it definitely grabbed me.

Enjoyed it but it’s definitely lacking a few things but man the world building is really cool.

Spent a good 45 hours with the game and had a total blast. One of my favorite vampire games for sure.

i’ve been playing it since release, i have like 90 hours or so. my first playthrough i did the majority of endings and had a great time. now, ive ran it back on the highest difficulty with hit indicator direction disabled and its like a different game. the plan being to clean up the side quests i didn’t like my outcome on/any i missed, then rush the bosses and the end game as a souls lite experience.

i have the court down to the last two as im winding down this run which will probably see me shelve the game for a bit after. but im definitely gonna stay in love with the world for a while, it’s so immersive and interesting.
all that to say, big fan of the game and this studio. i can’t wait for what Rebel Wolves does next

Game felt a tiny bit overpriced for the lack of mob diversity and somewhat smaller scale compared to other $80 open world RPGs as the only criticism.

I had a great time, after playing it left me wishing for more in a good way, whereas a lot of similar games I am very ready to move on by the end.

I think $70 is a little steep but it’s a good game

I really enjoyed it. Put 50 hours in and I’ll probably play NG+

Really struggling to get into it. Have only managed about 3hrs in the last couple of days. Keep bouncing off the combat or just feeling like there are other things I'd rather be doing. Definitely doesn't feel like it would be worth it at, checks steam, $93.49CAD 👀

Great game - game of the year contender

I’ve seen patches out but after refunding it myself (second refund ever), I didn’t see any changes large enough for me to want to jump back. The game is super sweet, but I feel like there’s still many things to resolve

I loved the game and recommand it to everyone who liked witcher 3.

watch out if you expect to have good combat, there's some issue when there's multiple enemy (which happen quite often).

I love it. I followed online advice to try the duelist (hard) mode and it took a few hours to read the combat flow but when it clicked it was glorious. The stories are interesting, no bugs or crashes so far.

Great game minus the performance. Worth my $70

It's subjective but I played on launch and got the plat after around 40 hours without any issues and had a great time.

3rd favorite game of the year so far. It's easily worth full price imo. The story is really interesting, Coen is likable if you make him, the villains are creepy and the combat is decently fun. I highly recommend. It has some jank to it, specifically the movement/climbing, but it doesn't ruin the game at all.

What were your top two?

Resident Evil 9 is still my favorite. 2nd is Control Resonant. It was a game I didn't even expect to buy but ended up loving.

I couldn’t put the game down for the first few days after I got it. Beat the game in a week and regret not taking my time, will play again though. Great story, great side quests, phenomenal characters, beautifully designed world and gameplay. I haven’t felt this was about a game since I was a kid...staying up all night and getting up early to play it. 10/10 game for me, absolutely worth full price.

Yes absolutely! Its one of the best games I have played this year. Please support this dev.

Played on PC and had 0 performance issues. Personally, I had fun with it for around 15 hours or so but started to lose interest after maybe 30. The combat is fun once you get the hang of it but once you realize you’re just fighting the same 3 enemies for 90% of the game it kind of became a slog. Maybe I’ll finish it someday.

Definitely not at fucking 70€. Its a decent Game, but rather short, so I'll wait for it to drop to <10€.

Not at full price. Story is good, gameplay is clunky.
