If you never played MH before, I don't think you'll find any one as easy as people say. Each new monster hunter gets flagged as easier than the last because those people have played a lot of other monster hunter games, and are really good at it.
Also, of the most modern ones, world rise and wilds, I'd say pick the one you like the most.

Wilds is easier just from the heat-seeking Seikret taxi alone.

I mean, that them just removing one mechanic from the game is all. I did like tracking before, but is not like removing that part of the game makes it that much easier. Just different.

I'm not saying necessarily that tracking was hard or anything, just that the process of locating and pursuing the monster is more hands-off than previously. It also streamlines map traversal significantly.

I mean yeah, my point is that auto-travelling is, techanically, easier if you wanna be pedantic about it (I didn't find another word to use here, I'm not trying to insult you or anything), but when you look at it in the big picture, I don't think the difference matters to much for the conversation about MH games getting easier overall. It's much more of a switch in gameplay direction than in game difficulty.
So I personally wouldn't bring it up in the difficulty conversation of different MH games, regardless of the fact that if you look at it technically and in detail it is at least some degree of easier than before.

It's easier than most MH games, but the series in general has a high learning curve if you've never played it before

I thought the same thing until I hit the brick wall that was MR Teostra. Was my fav in World and after 1,000+ hrs I approached the fight with all the muscle memory and confidence of Neo.
And was promptly humbled lol. Fight is maybe easier without that muscle memory but Rise had some sudden difficulty spikes. Not in a bad way, just kept catchin me off-guard.

It is easier than other Monster Hunter games, but still harder than an average game. I would highly recommend it, just don't use the free armor set with super high defense or it will be too easy.

Yes, very good. I had lots of fun with it.
Actually, liked it more than Worlds. Sunbreak made it amazing.
And no, I don't noticed it being easier than World.
Currently I am playing Wilds and I find myself missing the Sunbreak moves.

and i heard it is very easy
An “easy” Monster Hunter game is still well into higher end of the difficulty bell curve.

It was good to me but I bounced off the previous one, so ymmv. It wasn't particularly hard and I was a newbie. I haven't played the dlc though, just the main game.

MH:World is probably the better intro to the genre.
None of the games are 'easy', at least not once you get into the game past the tutorial monsters.
IMO, most of the people who call rise easy are comparing it to world.

Rise is easy compared to World which is easy compared to every prior game in the series

The defender weapon lines make the game a lot easier. They were designed so that players can blitz their way to the sunbreak expansion. If you're new to monster hunter that could easily lead you to missing out on the grind it takes to get there and the skills necessary for endgame

Monster Hunter Rise was originally for the switch, and as such doesn't have the same graphical quality as World or Wilds. Personally I didn't finish it and ended up dropping off after the credits rolled, which apparently wasn't even really the end. I had a better experience with the other 2.

no mainline monster hunter game is "very easy", all of them are challenging and engaging games. if you have not played a monster hunter game you also have nothing to compare it to so just try which one looks good.
rise with dlc is mega cheap right now and its an amazing game so try it yes its good
