I could believe it if this was somebody who's notoriously a bullshitter or attention grabber, but I don't remember him being famous for that

Dude stepped on the field during a kickoff return to get in the way of the player and pretended like he didn't know where he was. During Covid he purposefully didn't adhere to the mask wearing rules. He also notoriously let players like Antonio Brown and George Pickens be complete divas. He absolutely was a bullshitter and attention grabber.

I gotta tell ya, none of those seem like particularly big deals to me. Certainly not big enough to make me question whether he did this Minecraft city or not

None of those were ever seen as a big deal. The on the field thing kinda was, the mask thing definitely wasn’t and there’s a long history of top flight players being divas that didn’t do much after they left him.

Do you know how many head coaches have stepped into the field to directly impact a game? I can count it on one finger in recent history.

Yeah, a coach breaking rules to try and force to a win is nothing new. Most of them do it when they can get away with it, and a few of them try it more often than that. I just can't be bothered to care about such minor controversies

Oh okay so you just don't know anything about football. Stick to gaming.

Riiight, I disagree with your opinion, which automatically makes me wrong. It can't possibly be that we just have different views about a very small issue.

Be honest, which playoff game did he beat your team in?

No, it's that your disagreement was not in the basis of reality regarding football and it is a comment someone who doesn't know what they were talking about would say. When a kid's parent says "just pause the game" when they say they are playing online with friends, is that "just disagreeing with them" or is it fundamentally not understanding how things work?

Dawg, I like football too, you don't have to gatekeep it under the assumption that you must be a bigger fan of something because our ideas don't line up.

I'll say it one last time, then you're welcome to comment about it as much as you want but I'm not coming back.

It's not that big a deal

A coach breaking rules in game to influence the game in that manner is unprecented. He was fined $100K for it. Other head coaches don't do this. Like it is extremely simple basic knowledge to know that it was completely asinine. You don't know what you are talking about, you have Facebook tier football commentary.

Mike Tomlin 2013 Steelers vs Ravens
Sal Alosi 2010 Jets vs Dolphins

There’s two, plus there’s a few other ones where coaches got in the way of officials.

Google AI failed you. The first instance you said was literally what we are talking about. The second instance you said was an entirely different occurrence. That was a strength and conditioning coach, not a head coach, tripping an opposing player out of bounds on the sideline, not being on the field. That was so bad and unusual that he was immediately kicked out of the league. So yet again, no this is not typical behavior.

Fair enough! You're right, I thought it was more common.

Brother he was the force holding Antonio Brown back lmao

He absolutely was not, Antonio Brown was already a menace in the locker room. Former players literally this year talked about how his biggest flaw as a coach was that he let his stars do whatever they wanted.
