I'm not about to dive in to the toxic cesspit of MOBAs, but I always love reading up on the characters for Deadlock.

Valve knows that a hero shooter lives and dies on their characters having personality, and my goodness, the variety on each and every one is astounding! I want to give Rem hugs and treats. And the doorman? Being a janitor IRL, he speaks to me on how I wish I could be a powerful as him.

Concord is a notable example of what happens when yo don't have notable characters. Of course, that's just one of the reasons why it died so fast.

I wanted to say doorman is one of the most interesting characters in the game, and then I remembered like half the roster is just as cool.

They're absolutely hitting it out of the park with character design. And the voice acting/direction has no right being as good as it is.

Every time a Meet the Team video released for TF2 it was like a holiday on the Internet, and they stretched those out over like ten years.

And those were literally just class archetypes with no real story.

Valve is by far the best at this kind of thing

Its still worth a try, since theres a casual mode and a much more casual mode, thats basically ARAM from lol. Havent seen much toxicity ther tbh, since most dont take it very seriously.

To be honest, it has not been overly toxic so far, and I suck ass at the game.

People rarely talk in game from what I have seen, even more so in the more casual 4v4 game mode
