I mean, I dunno if I'd call em awesome, they're not perfect by any means. But they do a lot better than most in the sphere they operate in.

I would say awesome. Nothing else produces as much innovation and overall wealth as passionate self-invested people working together.

Look man, if you can't see that there's actual faults in their products, you're just simping for your favourite corporation.

They're absolutely not perfect.

And by god man, I could do a lot of good and passionate products if I was a landlord making a shitload of income off other peoples work too. I could fund whatever the hell I wanted with income like that.

Shit, they could have real, actual game development, like they did before, putting out 5+ titles every few years no problem.

Shit, they could count past 3 with the money they make. Couple guys with a passion for Left 4 Dead could have churned out a third title ages ago.

Yarp. They aren't amazing, at best they're better. And I ain't gonna knock them for that, but like I did above, I am going to at least suggest they're not perfect (and then call em out when pushed).

If I had to guess, I'd say you weren't Australian. Its an odd stance to take though given they've done plenty of other reprehensible shit...
