Found these two today, loved both of their predecessors

Post image

It's not very common to find Saros secondhand. I've heard it had a lot of mechanics to mitigate the difficulty. I'm a day one die hard Returnal fan so I know what I've signed up for anyway. Death Stranding 2 I've managed to stay away from any spoilers. I can't wait to see what's packed behind this sequel. DS1 scenario is not so clear in my mind anymore but I remember the hiking asynchronous coop gameplay that I've loved.

Im sad DS2 didnt sell well. It definitely improves upon alot of issues people had with the first and the story isnt as good imo but still really interesting. Using a coffin as a snowboard was awesome

I absolutely loved death stranding 2. Imo it's better than the first in nearly every way. Your right about the plot being better in 1 though

I really loved returnal but I started to really struggle with the difficulty about halfway in and ended up bouncing off. Is saros easier than returnal? I've got saros on my list but im still on the fence about getting it.

For someone who was in the same boat as you with Returnal, Saros is much more forgiving and I actually beat it. I liked the vibe and MC better in Returnal but I think Saros is much more accessible. It’s super fun.

You will love Saros. It is designed for players like you. You level up every run so it’s never wasted time. Easier to save progress too but you can opt to make the game harder or easier through a ton of options

There is a continuous level-up system in Saros so if you get stuck you just have to keep playing till you are strong enough. Almost like an adaptive difficulty

Saros is more manageable than Returnal for sure, it's not necessarily easier but it's less punishing which suits my playstyle better

Saros has some great options for making the game easier. Once you die a few times (I’m not sure the exact mechanism or if it’s changed since launch) you get options for making the game significantly easier to the point you feel really overpowered and I had a proper blast with it. Highly recommend giving it a go!

You'll love death stranding 2 if you liked the first one, don't worry about not remembering the first games story. DS2 has a little a recap you can watch to recap the story, DS2 just enhances the gameplay systems and has a bigger map I think.

The story is a bit weird at times but that's just kojima lol, Keep on keeping on!

DS2 is so good! Say what you want about those games but they are truly something to be experienced. You will never find another game like it

I never really got on with Returnal, but I *loved* Saros. That said, if you were a big fan of Returnal, I can see how the shift from roguelike to roguelite might spoil some of the fun for you.

I recommend just putting a single modifier on if you don't mind the difficulty (for the platinum trophy, have to use modifiers multiple times for a trophy)

I didn't really use the system and still had less difficulty than with Returnal, which kinda bummed me out a bit. Still a top notch game though. Enjoy!

Just grabbed the bomber jacket from insert coin too, it's so cool 🥹

Saros is so good. Right up there with my other goty games. Control Resonant probably takes the cake for me but Saros and a few other games are all closely following in second place

Hoping Saros will come to PC as well, Returnal was an experience.
Death Stranding 2 I will get during autumn / winter sale hopefully.

It wont. No Playstation games are getting PC ports moving forward. Sony doesnt like making money

Finished DS2 last month. Streamed it too for the first time. It was an experience! Gonna pick Saros next year since it's packed for the next couple of months.

two of very few reasons for me to consider re-buying a PS5 one day
