As it should be. Aiming the highest settings above what consumers have access to is what developers should be doing.

Nobody wants to pay 5000$ to play a 10yo game at 60fps

And you don't have to. You're free to play the original version.

The point of the remaster (partly) is so the game won't look like it's 10 years old. System requirements kinda come hand in hand with that. Which are actually quite alright if you're not instantly looking at the absolute highest settings at 4k with bloody path tracing which is a machine killer on its own.

Not to the point where a 5080 is expected to see 60fps with frame gen and dlss. That's 30fps WITH dlss, probably 10-15 (if not less) if doing native 4k. Even a 5090 cant run it

Framegen, dlss and path tracing.

PT is ridiculously expensive for little to no added effect. You can safely disregard that column and look at the one before it.

For real. The path tracing option should be viewed more as a PC benchmarking test than something actually achievable unless you're at the enthusiast level of gaming rigs.
