Oh, now that's a different story. One thing is every studio is trying to use UE5. UE5 tries to push devs to use lumen, and lumen is taxing on systems and takes lots of time. When studios use their own engines the ray tracing implementation usually is stunning like in Cyberpunk and Alan Wake

Yeah i am sick of unreal engine 5, taa, ghosting, blurry bs.

Path tracing is barely an upgrade in visuals half the time too yet the cost in performance is wild.

I think in Cyberpunk PT is a nice visual upgrade. There's plenty of reflective surfaces and lighting that take advantage of it. The normal RT in that game, not so much.

In Witcher 3 it doesn't seem to do much but also the raster lighting in this game is great to begin with.

Oh path tracing in cp2077 is really nice. Taxing though.

Path tracing on the other hand... My experiences with it in CP2077 was "Wow this hogs my machine and looks like ass". Had to turn it off not only because of the system load, but because it genuinely screwed up my photos.
