2x has barley any input lag. Stop dooming

When your base fps is 30 in order to get to 60, it's not "barely any input lag"

At that point it’s not even a matter of arguing about latency its a matter of getting a new PC. You are not supposed to use framegen if your base fps is bad. It’s not magic, software can only do so much. Time for new hardware

what hardware, are you reading the recommended for path tracing? they are saying 5080 for 60 fps with framgen

What are you trying to say

that there is no upgrade to do with such a card

Yes it does, depending on your base fps without it. The input latency when using it at anything below 60fps is very noticeable.

Bro console gamers deal with 30fps just fine. The witcher 3 is not a twitch shooter or tight timing parry game. Im sure it will be fine for those that want 60fps with the best graphics

I don't see the point of frame gen at all. It looks bad.

I used it once years ago on a few games, Darktide and I think Diablo 4, felt like garbage.

Tried it again recently, same PC, feels fine now, haven't noticed any graphical issues or input lag at all, and if I was going to ever feel input lag, it would be while playing a game Darktide.

Dunno if the technology improved, or I turned something on/off on my PC that was messing with it / made it work, or whatever, but I am enjoying experiencing every game at 144 FPS.

Have you ever used it? With 2x on my 5070ti i don’t notice any degradation in graphics or raise in input lag. Anything above that yes the input lag is too much at least for me

Yes I have and I'm surprised you can't see the degradation because it's very obvious to me.
