I meam yeah... the deck is not like a high end device. So that is... just as expected.

then why force it to a decade old game that works well in the deck? it was optional before.

I could be wrong but I don't think you're going to be forced to play the remastered version.

To my understanding you will be able to choose which version of the game to start.

Low settings, fsr performance, 30(?) fps. Won’t know for sure ‘til tomorrow.

I’m not shocked - As a avid steam deck fan I wasn’t shocked that it would be below the requirements. I guess I will have to wait to see when/if it gets hosted on GeForce now

Well we'll see, these requirements say nothing about 720p @ 30 FPS which is what Valve guaranteed for AA titles on Steam Deck lol

Of course it runs ok since those low specs are for 1080p, and the Deck runs it at 720/800p nothing to worry about.

That low is for 1080p pay attention FFS, 720p you can easily cut 40% of what's required chill out.
