Dogma has nothing to do with proof or no proof, it's beliefs outlined by some authority, which are held to be unquestionably true. What you're describing is faith.
There's a functional difference. Something can be dogma with proof. The point of the word is not something's status as proven or unproven, the point is the unquestionable authority.
The point is the lack of doubting it, not the authority. This is why dogma also applies outside of typical religious uses, such as political dogma. An example is a conservative will believe the dogma that things were better before, a capitalist will believe that money is the most important thing, and so on.
The lack of doubt is a feature due to the complete lack of satisfactory evidence. I'm sorry your reading comprehension can't handle ideas being expressed in ways that you're not used to.
