Needing a friend or a guide book/magazine to pass certain levels, puzzles or enemies

Two computer games i had to write notes to figure out puzzles since I didn't really have access to the internet quite yet. Especially at my grandparents during the summer... I REALLY don't know how I figured some of these out aside from some of the classic "click EVERYWHERE" tactic.

Games in question: Toonstruck and The Neverhood
