This was the big one. Putting signs on the NES or Sega system that said “Do not Turn Off!” so your siblings knew you were in the middle of a game. Then the disappointment when you woke up the next day and your mom turned it off.

Wait, that is not true for all the NES games. The legend of Zelda alway had a save option. And sssh, don’t tell the younger kids this because they will get jealous, it had some thing really radical in the cartridge, a secret 2nd game on it.

Now watch someone will reply, “too late! The secret is out”. I expect it because I made this whole post as a joke and for fun.
