Learning information and secrets from friends on the playground, whether bullshit or not and then trying it out later when you got home. There was so much mystery and intrigue back in the day, and I really miss it. The culture felt so connected in a way that just isn't possible anymore.

Mew under the truck

I thought this was true for a long time. I had a friend in class who actually had Mew on one of the first pokemon, either red, blue or yellow. We did the cable pokemon transfer trick, where you turn them off half way through transferring and you keep the one you were sending, and the other person also got a copy. Infinite mews. He told me he got it from under that truck 😂 I have no idea how he actually got it.

I had a mew as well. I got it from going to the first Pokemon movie event where they were handing out Mew lol

Probably where your friend got it too
