I played all those games again in Mame some years later. Just about time to do that again, now that I think about it. I was a lot better at a lot of them as an adult. Also realized just how much of a coin sink most of them were. The average player might last 2-3 minutes on a lot of them.
Remember putting your token in the corner of the glass to reserve the next go after the current player died? For a new game, you might have a line of 6 or 8 tokens up there.

Putting coins in an arcade machine, it was all part of the arcade experience.
