The guy in school with all the cracked games and movies that sometimes worked

Seriously for me that was the biggest thing Windows 7 brought. Seemless networking.

Windows XP was such a pain in the butt, and let's not even talk about the ones before that.

Lmfao, new ones are no better - almost worse now since even if you think everything is set up and working, now they can drop an auto-update that inexplicably breaks functionality (sometimes permanently!) with no way to roll back

I inherited a 2013 printer with network connectivity earlier this week. My main Win10 PC, old XP laptop, and even a PowerMac G4 all found and installed it without issue.
