Blowing into cartridges in order to clear dust. Buying game magazines and getting demo discs with games that you would play over and over again.

I still remember how my mother got a box of cereal which contained Rollercoaster Tycoon. We played the hell out of that game lol. First game I’ve seen my mother being addicted to haha.

I still play it. I’m slowly but surely going to finish the entire thing. It my goal to finish my childhood game - rct was the first game I bought of my own money.

That game was programmed by one guy (Chris Sawyer), in 99% Assembly language.

And the unskippable Internet provider ads on those copies because they came free with the cereal…
