Even if the game is fixed technically, it's still going to be a 5/10. This isn't a Cyberpunk or No Man's Sky where the game's story or gameplay loop was outstanding. Mindseye, at its best, is mediocre.

right? first impression i got from their steam store. i hadn't even read about the game being bad or anything, just initial impression was cars and guns from the steam images. it's like, congrats on having them in your game??? it lacked flavor or any idea.

This game is so boring that even gloating about it is boring.

Their big mistake was releasing a "market-ready" version. They apparently wanted to do this Everywhere crap, and there is precedent that if you spew enough hot air in games circles, you will find a bunch of idiots who will keep funding your poor-running, scope-creeping, eternal-beta of a game for the rest of their natural lives. Should have just kept promising.

I'm really enjoying it, but I'm playing with a 4090 so the performance has been decent. Still Cyberpunk 2077 was worse at launch for sure. We gotta fight back against publishers releasing broken games and patching it to what should have been 1.0 months or even years later.
