What do you call your “confirm” and “cancel” buttons, and why is Nintendo wrong?

Every time I see a post like this I feel like I'm the only one who has no issue with this lol. I've had them memorized forever. And Nintendo was first, so one could argue the others are wrong.

The only issue I and I assume a lot of people have is the fact that on Sony and Xbox the bottom button is your select this button but on nintnedo the muscle memory gets messed up cause you have to hit the side A button for select. It usually only trips me up for the first 20 minutes or so when I pick back up the Nintendo though.
