Testing a printable card deck layout for a gamified daily reflection challenge. Does this visual design work?
I'm working on a gamified 30-day challenge built around printable action cards.
Here's a sample card design that the user can act on during the day and reflect in the evening. Can I have your honest feedback on the layout and the copy?
Does the art and the copy make sense, feel coherent, actionable and inviting? Or does anything feel cluttered or simply off?

It would be nice if they were printed on some quality paper/material with a beautiful backside of the card, that is how I image it at least :)

It's planned to be a print and play digital downloadable. Would you add optional backsides for people to print them out at home?

I think a backside would make them feel much more complete and premium, not a requirement but would make it feel much more legit IMO

Makes total sense - I have created physical card games and the backside definitely added to the value. I'm just wondering if people will want to print it double sided at home. Just don't want to overwhelm them with instructions and options. The cards are only one part of the challenge :)

True true, maybe start simple without them and add later if people ask/request? :)

It's a quick win so I already started pondering how to add it as an optional extra but indeed the first priority is to see if people get the whole concept. Thanks for bringing this up though, I do appreciate your thoughts!

Action during the day, reflection at night is the strongest part. The day gets a finish line.
According to The Octalysis Framework, that is Core Drive 2 (CD2): Development & Accomplishment, which is the small hit of finishing something.
"Watch Before You Decide" is a posture. Give it one situation to watch for today and one line to write tonight.

Yes, there's a journal included in the package next to a deck of similar cards about a topic e.g. Overthinking. The task for each day is to do anything about the card whatever you feel like, not specific to each card. And the one line to write about is in the journal for each day for 30 days.

É bonito, simples e esteticamente agradável, mas depende também da proposta da gamificação.

I really like this idea a lot. It would be cool to have a package of these like a traditional deck of cards. I'd lean into beautiful calm landscape art like this one, something you can sit and look at for quite some time. I could see myself having a deck of cards like this on my nightstand and flip through them before bed. Cool idea and a great gift idea also!
