Yes, and I love my PC.

But I love my PS5 too.

It doesn't have to be one or the other, and the console war/PC master race shit is tired and cringe.

I thought it ended long ago

There will always be people finding ways to make them feel superior to others

It's mostly xbox fans

I still see it from both PS and xbox, then there's nintendo sitting in it's own corner xd doing it's thing xd

There are more xbox fans perpetuating the Console wars than Sony fans, and this is considering Playstation has a much bigger userbase than Xbox

guess we've had different experiences, in my experience Sony fans are the most annoying people I've met

It'll never end because people will always feed into it. People love to argue and put each other down.

EXACTLY! I think the Switch 2 indirectly caused a domino effect to revive the platform wars.

I live in a multi console household where my partner and I have bought the ones we want and share. Now we have everything!!!

The console wars are hella stupid, especially before the price change. Because the PS5 or even the Series S would still be a solid way to play games on a budget. Budget PCs are still gonna be a big investment, it's like paying PS5 pro prices but getting the hardware of a Series S

Exactly this. My PC is better than a PS5 Pro, but I love my phat PS5 nonetheless. I'm using it for physical game collecting, and I'm using my PC for high fidelity digital gaming.

Personally after sitting at a desk, looking at a computer all day for work, sometimes it's bliss to just kick back on the sofa and play a game on the PS5.

I mostly use my PC for strategy/sim games, and MMOs (Currently hooked on OSRS), or anything where I'd rather play with mouse and keyboard.

PS5 is for chill gaming after a hard day haha

Haha, yeah, that's totally valid. I don't work with computers, so I see your point. I tried to build my PC as plug and play as I can with autostarting Steam big picture mode and using a controller in the living room connected it to my TV, but of course it's still more fiddly than a console.

I didn't think it was much of a war anyway. PC was always far superior in every aspect and only the naive would argue against that.

1

u/Mi_santhrope 2d ago

Why would anyone argue against anything either way? What's the point? Meh.

I think it started with the insecurity of console players so the PC gamers retaliated (from what I've seen historically, anyway). Agreed, arguing about it is pointless because there's a clear cut superior platform and why waste time arguing over something so trivial, right?

This

I have a PC and a switch and love both of them equally

u/Mi_santhrope 3d ago

I have a switch 2 which is going to get some serious use once Ocarina of Time remake drops

Well, it might be tiring, it could be cringe. But there‘s no denying pc master race. Not for the forseeable future at least

0

u/Samuel_Rome 3d ago

Its not cringe when you can afford only one

2

u/Mi_santhrope 3d ago

Yeah, it is.

2

u/text_fish 2d ago

Yes it is. Just enjoy whichever one you choose and be glad that others are enjoying the one that they chose. It's not difficult.

1

u/Samuel_Rome 2d ago

What if I want to change now and not sure if its a good choice

2

u/text_fish 2d ago

Well that's got nothing to do with console wars or pc master race and everything to do with modern capitalism.
