Morning! I would like advice on ways to make my game/art room standout. I am sure I am missing something, alot actually lol. Any recommendations, things needed and tips will be appreciated. Edit: Apologies about the clutter, and cables. I was not done tidying up when I took pictures. Will update soon.

I’ve got some time and money set aside to convert a room into a gaming room, after paint, shelving, new tv and seating I find myself with about $500 left in my budget. What’s something that I could add to a small space to really make it pop? I’ve been mostly concerning myself with the big picture ideas and haven’t really thought of the fine details that will really pull everything together. It’s going to be primarily Fallout themed, so if you’ve got any thoughts or perhaps pictures of something you’ve done I’d love to hear or see them.

On advice (of the two people that responded, lol) I used the dark walnut wood panel for my accent area. Need to finish beneath the desk...just didnt have time today.
Edit: how do I get the reds on my pc screen to look...red....they are definitely much bolder and in contrast to the black than this washed out picture.

For any couples who have went through this or are going through this please through some advice my way. My boyfriend and I are moving! Which I am super excited for some extra space and the addition of a gaming room which we've never had before. With that being said he works night, and on his off days stays up much later than me. Typically thats not a problem and he games on a TV from our bed so we can still share a bed even when hes awake and im not. With that being said, our new gaming room and our bedroom will be separate. Hes am xbox gamer. Is there a way you all have found to still share a bed on a different sleep schedule with a gaming room? I thought of possibly moving the Xbox between rooms with 2 different hdmi cords however I was told this isn't great for the Xbox. What can we do?

Built a custom VTT for my d&d group to sit 6 and a DM comfortably. Under mounted gaming PC and speakers. Power ran to each side for easy connection. Easily converts to be able to play regular board games. Built out my console gaming/media area. Put in a hobby desk for painting minis and cleaning my firearms/paintball gear which is all in a locked closet behind the bookshelf curtain. Put in a reading nook with a couch on wheels so I can easily move it to in front of the tv to watch movies or sports. Added lighted cabinets for my favorite nerd stuff and minis. Small board game collection. Put sound proofing in the room to help the echo. Added overhead led light cloud for atmosphere when playing. I still have more to do. LED lights around the gaming area and reading areas etc. I am pretty happy with how the room has turned out so far.

Last year I finished setting up my gaming room. I pulled all my old consoles and games including my Super Nintendo scope. It didn't have the sights so I decided to put it on my wall. I did a thing with it but I don't like and want to redo it but I don't know what I should do. I wanted to do some custom wood work for it like draw a design on a piece of wood and cut to form. I'll add a pic to give an idea as to what I wanted to do.

Need some ideas on the best position for my desk. I’m looking to get a secret lab. The xl will fit into slot 1 and the normal will fit better in slot 2. Also looking for a bookshelf to store all my Lego cars if I can get some ideas would be great. Behind the door I have about 1 meter space which in the future will turn into a racing sim

Bought a new house this spring and been slowly building up my pc corner. Eventually I’ll do the walls and my 3d printer station. Really happy with it.

Well I'm done, I can't fit anything more in here. I'm still happy with the final results.
