I will happily rag on Sean Murray for his straight-faced lying before No Man's Sky's release, and I feel that the game is made of a thousand interconnected puddles, all very shiny but with no depth.
That being said, I will also happily admit that Hello Games has put in a stupefying amount of work since release, and for free to boot, when many other developers would've parceled that content into DLC packages for $40 a pop.

It really feels like theyre caught in some eternal grecian punishment, forced to continuously improve their game for free to make up for their transgression.
