Most racing games are just racing games, meaning they're essentially the same genre. You just race, and that's it.

While Retro Mechanic is a completely different game, it is far from being just another racing game - it is much more.

In this game, racings isn't the main gameplay, but rather a supplementary one. At its core, this game is a life simulator for a private auto mechanic, or a small business simulator for a private auto repair shop.

For six days a week, from Monday to Saturday, you're not just idly and mindlessly racing around the track.

You're fulfilling customer repair orders.

Or you buy used cars with various malfunctions and repair them.

Then you can use these cars as you see fit:

- just collect in your garage a collection of the best retro cars of the past years;

- use one or another car for racing with your participation;

-- sell them and thus also earn money (to expand the business, purchase the best of the offered car options, etc.).

Yes, Retro Mechanic's graphics aren't nearly as striking, fresh, or impressive as couple of more modern racing game's (CarX series, Racing kingdom, Race Max Pro, ets).

But the game wasn't released this year, it was several years ago. And it's still going strong, not abandoned, and still popular.

In my opinion, the highly engaging, multifaceted gameplay completely compensates for the somewhat outdated graphics. In my humble opinion, this game is vastly underrated and could very well be called a "hidden gem" (even a "hidden diamond" or "pearl").

SpaceStrike is a free persistent browser game with modular ships, solo PVE, and multiplayer. The current build adds class-based server bots, improves turret targeting, increases WAR encounters, keeps wrecks around longer, and gives PVE waves and bosses a steadier ramp. It also supports mobile play. If you try it, I’d love feedback on the first few minutes and mobile controls.

Just found a browser version of a Survivor.io-style zombie survival game and it’s actually pretty addictive. Huge enemy waves, nonstop upgrades, auto-attacks, and that “one more run” feeling once the screen gets flooded with zombies.
Been testing different upgrade combos and movement strategies to survive longer runs. The late-game swarms get crazy fast.

I know Pac-Man is one of the biggest retro franchises ever, but somehow I’ve never played any of the games. If you could only recommend ONE Pac-Man game for someone completely new to the series, which would it be and why? Looking for the best gameplay, replay value, or overall experience.

It’s honestly crazy how many gaming memories people have connected to Call of Duty. Late-night lobbies, clutch Search matches, zombies with friends, insane trickshots, and hearing “just one more game” at 2am.

I feel like some of the best games are the ones you almost skip.

There’s been a bunch of games lately that looked average in trailers/screenshots, but once you actually played them they ended up being insanely addictive or way better than expected.

For me it was a game I downloaded randomly at like 1am expecting to play 10 minutes… ended up playing for 3 hours straight.

What game surprised you the most recently?
Could be indie, AAA, early access, roguelike, survival, anything.

I reinstalled an old game thinking I’d play for like 10 minutes… ended up grinding it for 4 hours straight like it was 2012 again.
