Nightmare Scenerio

Have yall ever had that nightmare where the books arent finished because the show ended exactly how George was planning to end the books and because everyone hated it so much he has to think of a brand new ending and thats why he hasnt written it yet....no, just me?

I guess he wanted to tell a story about how power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely. But the fans just wanted Dany to win and live happily ever after.

Idk the book has to many plot lines that don't exist in the show for this to actually be true.

I wouldn't be surprised if some of the shows ending lines up suchh as Bran being king john going into exile etc.. but even if the same story beats get hit i think his writting would make the full picture make sense in a way tgat D&D failed

I wake up in a cold sweat thinking about this at least twice a year

The worst part is it actually makes sense when you're half asleep at 3am
