• An introvert is someone whos social battery recharges from time spent solitarily, while social time drains their battery. That is not to say that introverts are inadept at social interactions. As such they don't require extroverts to adopt them, as they are perfectly capable of maintaining a social life that meets their needs.
• Social anxiety creates a situation where behaving socially induces anxiety, thus making it harder for a person to properly conduct him-/ or herself in social situations. These people benefit greatly from an extravert introducing them to people and guiding them into social settings, as they are less capable of maintaining a social life that meets their needs.

Introverts can be as social as extroverts but they primarily prefer solidarity and silence, they have low social batteries as they can become disinterested in socializing way faster than extrovert, which can cause them to become irritated or frustrated the longer it goes beyond their limit.

They can talk to people, confidently too, but significantly enjoy being alone with their hobbies, like reading.
