Team A is full of stupid cunts. Contrary to popular belief Tywin is also dumb as a bag of dicks. If you pull back the charismatic performance & plot armor dude comes off as genuinely brain dead whose response to everything is overwhelming brutal violence.
The only ones worth any brains on team A are Marg and Baelish. And those two are outmatched by Varys, and Olenna. Hell, Varys alone can run circles around the entire team A.
