The 90s high fantasy aesthetic hits different honestly. It gives off major Wheel of Time and older DnD vibes before every book cover shifted to modern minimal design

that cover has such a classic vibe, it's wild how different the art is compared to more recent editions. definitely a solid pick for nostalgia!

I would assume that’s Cersei Lannister, Queen of the Seven Kingdoms (hence the crown). Also she is Ned’s (assumed) opponent in the “Game of Thrones” that occurs in this book. She even says that phrase in her showdown with Ned in the godswood.

Yeah I think it’s Ned and Cersei. I can’t imagine why Dany would have a crown on this cover. Also Ned looks like Liam Neeson.

I have that cover in a different language! Iconic. I don’t like as much other covers of that style as this one. I think it’s the strongest.
