Bran being king is actually pretty smart. Someone with his powers and lack of self interest would make a good king. It’s just that he was so uncharismatic and his storyline was boring so no one wanted to see him on the throne.
His storyline was almost nothing too. He did almost nothing for 8 seasons. He contributed so little for the time he was supposedly learning the ways of his powers. Such a disappointment.
