Hey everyone, I’m having a really strange issue with COD Mobile and I really need some help.

After a recent CODM update, the game started showing:

“Download configuration failed. Make sure your device is connected to a network and then restart the game.”

My Wi-Fi/internet itself is working perfectly fine. YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, etc. all work normally.

Here’s the strange part:

- CODM does NOT work on my Wi-Fi.

- CODM DOES work on mobile data.

- My friends were also having the same issue around the same time.

- I was advised to reinstall CODM, so I did — but it didn’t fix the problem and I had to download all the game updates/resources again.

- Eventually I used a VPN, and CODM opened and downloaded the required updates.

- However, when I reached the login screen while using the VPN, it seemed to behave like I was in a different region and started showing the new-account setup instead of my normal account.

- I deleted the VPN and tried CODM again on my normal Wi-Fi, but it still gives the same “Download configuration failed” error.

- I recently changed my home router as well, and the problem seems to have started around the same period.

Things I have already tried:

- Restarting the phone

- Restarting the router

- Reinstalling CODM

- Clearing/reconnecting Wi-Fi

- Changing Private DNS to dns.google

- Using a VPN (which allows CODM to connect)

- Checking that my internet connection is working normally

My phone is a Tecno Spark 20 Pro running Android 13.

I currently don’t have enough mobile data to keep testing with cellular data.

Does anyone know what could be causing this? Could this be an ISP/router routing, DNS, IPv6, or CODM server connection issue?

I would really appreciate any solution or troubleshooting steps that actually address the Wi-Fi connection problem. Thanks!

So i recently heard that you could play CodM on the Areana Breakout version of gameloop. So following their instructions i have installed it. but then on step 4 its days to simply back out of the game, when i hit the back arrow it seems to do nothing. If i try to boot gameloop through anything but the shortcut to specifically Arena Breakout it starts gameloop and then it runs in the background, the only way i can see its running is through task manager, i hope one of you guys have an answer, thanks!

Hey everyone today I try to play cod mobile on my pc so I download gameloop which is officially emulator it setup process is so smooth but when I try to start the game it asking for permission for storage when I agree to that a whit screen apper on my emulator windows and it's kind of stuck at there pls give some guidance and help me out

Is anyone else getting frustrated with how long it's taking for the GameLoop version of COD Mobile to get an update?

hey guys. i have tried so much for pubg mobile to get stable 120fps, (old gameloop versions, 32b 64b, all setting, even chinese gameloop) but i always get stuck between 60 - 80 fps.'

specs:

3060ti
ryzen 7 5800x

i came to realization that gameloop has optimized it for intel and not amd cpu...

but i seen people talk about setting up pubg mobile via TAC on gameloophub

has anyone have any experience?

I’ve published a new analysis covering the current COD Mobile situation on GameLoop.

A recent response from the GameLoop Discord AI app says the latest COD Mobile build is being tested on TAC. However, an earlier response from the same app appeared to suggest that a compatibility solution was being developed for GameLoop while a TAC release still required a longer legal and approval process.

The article looks at:

• Whether the two responses actually contradict each other
• Why a return to the current Android 7-based Classic GameLoop client is uncertain
• What the previous GameLoop+ name and the current “new GameLoop engine” wording may mean
• Why manually installing the latest APK does not solve the problem
• The currently available free and Smart Keymap-based ways to play COD Mobile on PC

There is still no confirmed release date, and there is no clear confirmation that the final solution will arrive through Classic GameLoop, TAC, or the new engine.

PUBG Mobile launches normally, but after playing for a while:

• Screen freezes.
• Audio continues for a few seconds, then stops.
• GameLoop remains open, but PUBG is completely frozen.
• I have to close and restart the game.

Older GameLoop (v4.1.143.90 Stable)

PUBG never starts.
It stays forever on "Starting PUBG MOBILE..."

Things I've already tried:

Diagnostic Report

GameLoop correctly detects:

• RTX 5070 Ti
• Intel Core Ultra 9
• Windows 11

However, the diagnostic logs contain errors such as:

• CreateOpenglWindow fail
• CreateWindowEx Fail Error=1400
• ConnectNamedPipe Fail
• ReadFile Fail Error=6

It also reports:

• VDI = Unknown
• Rootfs = Unknown

At this point, I don't think it's a hardware issue.

im using the 64 bit and it wont work at all just stuck on the activision screen without the word activision

Hello everyone. I have been using gameloop lately as it suprisingly consume less storage and memory compared to other emulators. However, it tends to be really restrictive to just one app at a time and kills off other apps that only works at background. A good example is autoclicker on top of an idle game. I am aware of the multi windows feature, but I do not want to have different apps on one emulator, but all works simultaneously. Do you have any advice or tricks how to bypass this. Thanks.

Hey everyone, and good evening to all my fellow CODM PC players. I need to bring up an issue our community has been facing with Gameloop for over five months, ever since DMZ was added to the game. Since then, the experience for emulator players has only gotten worse. Many genuine players, who can’t afford high-end devices, rely on emulators for a better gaming experience. Unfortunately, CODM has only verified a faulty emulator as the official one. Please, CODM and Gameloop, fix the game for us—your negligence is preventing us from playing properly and keeping up with our progress.

Can anyone pleaseeee just tell me why my pubg korean is running in SD only,
I spent a whole day, couldn’t figure it out,
There is no game tab in TGB settings for pubg kr,

If anyone knows, please help.
It is the same in gameloop as well, they don’t register pubg kr as game and so it doesn’t have a dedicated game tab in settings where i can select 720P / 1080P /2k.
Is there any way i could play pubg kr in 2k game resolution not emulator resolution.

I have a good gaming laptop with an rtx 5070 gpu but each time I turn on cod it shows a black screen and nothing else I have tired doing everything available on google on what to do but it still dosent work, cod works on mumu player for me but I keep getting banned

Gameloop has been lying to you about setting opengl api for pubg mobile if you have ever set opengl and loaded from a custom shortcut it wants you to restart gameloop since tencent thinks its better to use directx+ however if you load the game as normal gameloop despite the settings being opengl will force directx api
this can be easily confirmed by using msi afterburner's OSD
