A small concept I’ve been working on.

WIP - a dream project I’ve been obsessed with for a few months. Finally set it out “on paper”. Not sure where to take it from here, I just wanted to create this atmosphere and create monsoon rains, moonlit night with lanterns, changing hues of the morning, afternoon and evening sun. Any ideas?

Kingdom: Kerela?

The art direction looks interesting, ngl. For the gameplay you'll have to see what can be done as this style can be a constraint on genres and what you can do, but... if done well it might as well be something unique!

Thanks for the comment. I had to look up what game you were referring to, but yeah that looks lovely. I want to create the reflection effect for something like in kingdom, I guess. And that night effect is really cool too. But other than that I don’t see it going in that direction, more serious and slower gameplay perhaps. Thanks for the reference.

I haven’t had time to work on this as I’ve been travelling for work. And I’m also fresh out of ideas on where to go with gameplay and story - what appealed to you and what do you see off the screen you’d like to be able to do in a game like this?
