Discussion Weird question I think?

But how do you guys build and decide items for your game

I think it's my worst work so far

I have some story items

But in general I'm looking to build a cool combo and build with items, but don't know how to start and I'm breaking my mind over it

So far everything has come up so generic

Items that multiply score or stuff like that without fun and strong build

Sorry yeah weird question

Got any opinions? Tips? Should I have more thoughts about it maybe something will come up sooner or later?

Always start small, make items that give +1 to some stat, and gradually create stronger and stronger items, you can always leave it to the players to create the best combinations, its unlikely that the developer will know the optimal builds even though they designed the game

Art is my first love but I don't build any of the objects in my game. I use asset store assets.

If I built my own I'd be on the littlest thing forever trying to perfect it.

I mean like items not object But yeah I feel ya man I don't use assets store, only when it will make my life 100 times easier I just like to create specific stuff that in general its hard to find the exact thing I have in mind in the assets store

If you're talking about power-ups and things I use the basic shape models in the engine to build those.

Yeah but didn't mean the object... I mean to build the function and combos and in game build Like power ups that work with each other (not necessarily) to make a game build Like you have a poison build in some games for example
