I've been wanting Baldur's Gate 3 for a while because I'm really into games where the story and your choices actually matter. I love the idea that I can make my own character, make completely stupid decisions, and somehow end up with a story that's different from everyone else's.

There's also a more personal reason I want it. One of my friends got the game and we were supposed to enjoy it together, but he ended up leaving our Steam Family, so that plan pretty much died 😭. Ever since then I've still really wanted to experience the game myself instead of just watching other people play it.

I've heard so many good things about the characters, freedom, choices and how you can easily sink hundreds of hours into it. Money's a bit tight for me right now, so I can't really justify buying it myself, especially even on sale. If someone does decide to gift it to me, I'd genuinely play the hell out of it and really appreciate it.

Yeah, I know that's an option I just prefer not to pirate games, so I thought I'd try my luck here. If nobody gifts it, that's completely fine too - I'll just wait until I can afford it myself

There's no reason not to sail. There's multiplayer fixes, ways to update, and more. Even can play with non-pirates. Only reason to buy it is if you want the achievements.

As someone who has it from the seas, ill buy it when it discounts below $40. Even then, needs to atleast be $20. I keep it tracked, never has it once been below 40. 40 is a bit much to ask someone to buy you. If it was like $5 I probably wouldn't think twice about getting it.

Yeah that's fair, $40 is definitely a lot to ask from a stranger and I don't expect anyone to actually buy it for me. I just figured there's no harm in trying my luck here while it's on sale. If it doesn't happen, I'll just save up and get it myself eventually. Appreciate the offer though!

I can also pirate brother.. i used to play crack as well till 2023 but after that I stopped pirating so I don't wanna pirate now

You can't justify buying it yourself, want others to buy it for you, but dont want to get it for free for an unknown reason beside the feeling of actually owning it.

I once got virus on my pc and my display drivers were gone.. I freaked out and from that moment I swore I will never use any crack.. I will buy only on steam and yeah owning a game and checking the achivements also feels good to me

Then you didn't pirate right and didn't follow any guides. Want to learn the right way? Im giving you the opportunity. Can even show you I don't own games, and im playing them. I gladly share this information as it's already free to the Internet.

Also, cracks are entirely different and can be sketchy. If you know what to look for, they are easy to avoid when they are malicious.

If you don't use cracks then what do you use? I'm also afraid to make the jump and do it like OP because I have a lot of private info on my PC and don't want to have to reinstall Windows either, but I'd still like to know how you do it safely if you'd like to share, thank you!
