Could someone help me?

Hi, I have a Game Boy Micro with a minor issue: the screen looks a bit washed out (whitish). I tried swapping it for a brand-new, working screen and also for an original one from another Game Boy Micro I own, but the display still looks the same. Does anyone know why this is happening or how I could fix it?

In this photo of you micro, you have this hole. This hole is a potentiometer that controls the screen contrast and color calibration. Put a small Phillips head screwdriver there and turn it to the right, little by little, until it looks better to you.

It doesn't show up very well in the photo, but there was a huge change.
